What should you pack for an Australian road trip to stay comfortable, safe, and prepared for changing weather and long drives? Which clothing, food, water, navigation tools, emergency supplies, toiletries, and vehicle essentials should you bring?

We should pack enough water, food, comfortable clothing, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, toiletries, a first-aid kit, phone chargers, and essential documents. For longer trips, we should also carry a spare tyre, basic tools, a torch, offline maps, and emergency supplies. Checking the weather and route beforehand helps us prepare appropriately.
