Housing, Diet, and Care Requirements

Caiques are active and inquisitive parrots that thrive in a stimulating environment with plenty of space to climb, play, and stretch their wings. This wonderful pair comes complete with their own spacious cage, providing a ready-to-go setup for their new home. To keep them in peak physical condition and maintain their brilliant plumage, they require a nutritious, balanced diet consisting of fresh tropical fruits, crisp vegetables, high-quality pellets, and sprouted seeds. Regular mental stimulation through foraging toys, wooden chews, and daily out-of-cage interaction is essential to keep these intelligent, high-energy companions happy and healthy.
