Optometrists

Vision drifts so slowly that many people miss the need for a proper test. Optometrists test eyesight, prescribe glasses and fit contact lenses. Group optometrists by suburb to find practices with an in-house frame range. Many tests are bulk-billed, so ask when you book an appointment. Eye tests can flag conditions well beyond blurry vision. Children and older adults benefit from regular checks in particular.
