Our instructors are highly qualified and experienced dance professionals. Many hold tertiary qualifications in dance or education, and all have extensive performance and teaching backgrounds. They are trained in safe dance practices, first aid, and working with children. We also regularly undertake professional development to stay current with industry trends.

Enrolling is easy! You can enrol online through our website, or contact our friendly office team for assistance. We'll help you choose the right classes based on your child's age and interests. Once enrolled, you'll receive a welcome pack with all the information you need to get started, including uniform requirements and class schedules.

For your first class, comfortable clothing that allows movement is fine—such as leggings and a fitted t-shirt. Ballet students may need ballet shoes and tights, while jazz and tap students will need appropriate shoes. We have a uniform policy for ongoing classes, which you can find in our welcome pack. Our office can advise on specific requirements for each style.

Yes, we have highly successful competitive teams that represent AADC at local, state, and national competitions. Entry is by audition or invitation, and team members receive additional training in technique, performance quality, and stagecraft. Our competitive program is designed for dedicated dancers who wish to take their skills to the next level.

We offer numerous performance opportunities throughout the year, including our annual concert, community events, eisteddfods, and competitions. Students also have the chance to participate in workshops with guest artists and industry professionals. These experiences build confidence, stage presence, and a love for performing.

We keep our class sizes small to ensure each student receives individual attention and personalised feedback. Our student-to-teacher ratio is kept low, typically no more than 15 students per class, depending on the style and age group. This allows our instructors to focus on technique, safety, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

bsolutely! We offer adult dance classes for all levels, from absolute beginners to experienced dancers. Our adult classes include ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, and hip hop. They are a great way to stay fit, have fun, and meet new people. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm!

Yes, we encourage students to explore different dance styles. Many of our students take multiple classes per week, combining ballet with jazz, tap, or hip hop. We offer discounts for multiple classes and can help you create a schedule that fits your family's needs. Trying different styles helps dancers become versatile and well-rounded.

The safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. Our studio is equipped with professional sprung floors to reduce impact on joints, and our instructors are trained in safe dance practices and first aid. We also have a strict child protection policy and all staff hold current Working with Children Checks. Our facilities are clean, secure, and designed with dancers in mind.

Classes run weekly throughout the year, following the school term schedule. Most recreational classes are held once a week, while competitive and advanced students may train multiple times per week. We offer flexible scheduling options, including after-school and weekend classes, to accommodate busy families.

Our annual concert is a highlight of the year, where every student has the opportunity to perform on stage in a professional theatre. It's a celebration of their hard work and progress, complete with costumes, lighting, and a supportive audience. The concert is typically held in November or December, and tickets are available for family and friends.

Yes, we offer examination opportunities for students who wish to pursue formal qualifications in ballet, jazz, and tap through recognised examining bodies such as the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and the Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD). Exams are optional but highly beneficial for technique and goal setting. We prepare students thoroughly for these assessments.
